The 9th AEA-Europe Conference will be held in Hisar, Bulgaria, from 6-8 November 2008. Previous conferences have been held in Prague in 2000, Krakow in 2001, Frascati in 2002, Lyon in 2003, Budapest in 2004, Dublin in 2005, Naples in 2006 and Stockholm in 2007.

The theme of the conference is "Achieving quality in assessment: validity and standards".
