Conference venue

The venue for the 2010 conference is the Grand Hotel in Oslo, Norway (www.grand.no ). Plenary sessions will be held in Det Norske Teatret, www.detnorsketeatret.no , situated around the corner of the Grand.

The Grand first opened its doors in 1874. For more than 130 years, the name has been synonymous with quality and atmosphere. World-famous Norwegians such as Henrik Ibsen and Fridtjof Nansen made the Grand their second home. Today, it is the proud host to Nobel Peace Prize laureates, celebrities and heads of state, among whom the US president Obama who stayed here last December when he was awarded the Nobel Peace Prize.

All paper presentations and discussion groups will be run here. We reserved sufficient rooms for all delegates to stay at the Grand, so do not miss this opportunity to sleep as a president!
